Inventory Control Specialist


Kai USA Ltd., manufacturer of Kershaw Knives and Zero Tolerance Knives in Tualatin, has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Specialist.


The Inventory Control Specialist will:

  • Maintain perpetual inventory counts of all materials and supplies
  • Process inventory-related transactions per inventory role
  • Have primary-cycle-count responsibility
  • Perform data entry of inventory-related information
  • Assist in yearly prep and annual physical-inventory count
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in inventory control
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid computer skills and prefer experience with MRP enterprise systems
  • Experience with cycle-counting programs and with conducting physical inventory
  • Ability to problem-solve and perform calculations
  • The physical abilities necessary to lift boxes and other materials
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Wages: $18.00 to 20.00 per hour
